and then headed over to the National Shrine of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha:
Kateri was a Mohawk native American who converted to Catholicism and was beatified by Pope benedict XVI.
The shrine itself dates from the 1780's and is worth a visit.
I guess the next time I'm out that way, I'll have to if I can make up the hill to the National Shrine of the North American Martyrs
since it my rouge Croix ride, I did a video for Andre. Hopefully no one listens to the lyrics too close.
